Cabinets By Dean was founded in 1965 by Dean Blackwill when he started out sharing his passion for quality woodworking from his home workshop in Houston, Texas.

After a few years of hard work, Dean grew his business specializing in cabinetry and moved to Willis, Texas where the company is to this day. He built his workshop, establishing his business as the best place for custom cabinetry work in the North Houston area.
Dean passed away in 2005 and his wife Paula picked up where he left off, working hard with her team to carry on his legacy of providing the finest, highest quality, most beautiful kitchens to the Houston area. Cabinets By Dean has grown a lot in 55 years of business, but its core principles will always remain the same: honesty, character, quality, hard work, and dedication to every aspect of our business.
